SQL Server is the natural pick when your organisation already runs Microsoft, when existing business software depends on it, or when you already own licences. It is also a safe choice under strict requirements for backups, security and availability.

If you are building something entirely new and licence costs matter, PostgreSQL is often the more economical option with comparable reliability. We advise honestly on that — the database should fit your situation, not our preference.

What we do with it
